WEBINAR 67 HIGHLIGHTS

  • It's easy and natural to defend off your backhand wing. But what about when the ball becomes difficult on the forehand side?
  • The worst shot I see in today's game is the defensive forehand. In fact, most players really struggle with this specific shot. The offensive forehand is just fine. But when players are forced to defend, they fail to put the ball in the court.
  • Defensive forehands happen all over the court - especially with Serve +1 forehands. There has to be a compromise with the stroke when the ball comes hard or deep. Blocking your way out of trouble is the key, but too many forehands still have a big backswing and the ball is not hit cleanly.
  • VIDEO: Initially watch players perform poorly with their forehand when on defense. Recognize the difficult situations that occur for players with their forehand.
  • VIDEO: Then watch players execute outstanding defensive forehands under pressure in a match. Getting in trouble on the forehand side is typically because of power, depth, direction, spin, or even court position. Learn the best technique and strategy to defend off the forehand side.
  • You will receive a Zoom reminder email one week, one day, and one hour before the webinar begins.
