G’day!
Partnering with innovative tennis academies all over the world is a primary focus for Brain Game Tennis, as it offers the opportunity to immerse a close-knit group of coaches and players with cutting-edge tennis strategy and analytics.
OTR Elite Tennis Academy in Hong Kong was the first academy I partnered with, and I greatly enjoy working with Jason Sankey who is the Elite Program Director. Below are four videos showcasing how we bring the best out of each other.

Video 2 – Junior Matches: Video Analysis
Starting this year, juniors in the OTR Elite Junior Academy will play matches in Hong Kong and then upload them to Brain Game Tennis where a 10-page “Match Intelligence” report will be created for the player and coach to analyze, as well as the ability to search through the tagged match video online. It’s the most state-of-the-art match analysis system available. Here’s more…

Video 3 – How To Play Smarter Tennis
The focus at the start of the video is that Strategy is more important than Statistics. The numbers are there to help figure out which patterns of play are better than others.
Two quotes from this video really stand out to me:
“We watch our sport and we don’t see it. There’s so much to our sport that we don’t see because you can’t see it with your eyes. You can see it on a stats sheet.”
“My role with Novak is to put the game plan together… is to help him figure out and understand what he’s doing well and find holes if he is not doing something well. So okay, this needs addressing. But the other side of it is… how do I beat that guy?”

Video 4 – 2019 Ladies Clinic At The Indian Recreation Club
This was another really fun day where Jason and I ran a three-hour ladies doubles clinic in the morning, and then I did a two-hour strategy presentation in the evening.
“We are going to cover a lot of territory with the strategy of the game. Cover a lot of numbers. But the goal is to make our sport simple.”
“We play a sport of incredibly small margins over incredibly big distances.”
